Gemini comes from the Latin word geminus, which means "twin". Of course, it's a reference to the Zodiac sign of the twins and the constellation with the same name. In Classic mythology, the constellation refers to the twin heroes Castor and Polydeuces (Pollux), sons of Zeus and Leda. If you're interested on their myth, check here.

Of course, Mokona Modoki were created as two of a kind, so we could say they're twins. That's why I chose the name. That, and I'm a sucker for astrology.
