[Updates] Holy shit, it's alive

Well... before I get stoned, I gotta say I made an update a couple of months ago that somehow the update blog never saved the entry for, and then it got lost. So the OST for the TV series has been uploaded for a while, and the anime info is pretty much decent now.

Anyway, first of all, today it's K.net's second anniversary! I want to thank you for visiting and supporting this crappy website.



Today, the galleries have been updated (specifically, the manga color illustrations and the B&W covers). Also, I added Haruka's profile, and the creatures section and the volumes have been updated. There are still things to update, like the links section and the Spanish half (which I haven't touched, shame on me), but I hope the next update will come sooner than this one ^^U And let's see if I can make new skins, because they're getting boring.

[Update] Lyrics

Nothing extraordinary this time, I'm afraid. Just pointing out to the fact Reason and Kagerou's lyrics are up :D Also, the episode list is updated.

I'll try to tidy up the gallery and write Haruka Doumeki's profile as soon as possible.

[Updates]

Hallo thar. Well, it seems like I haven't touched the site for two months. But actually, I've been adding stuff and tweaking things here and there. I just... forget to post in the blog *sweatdrop*

Okay, a list of the "new" things:
a) Anime info is now updated: episodes, seiyuu list, albums.
b) The creatures' profiles are up, finally. Also, I added Kohane's profile.
c) Multimedia, multimedia. Both the song in mp3 and the clip of the second ending, Kagerou, are up in the songs and video sections. But also, Julie (rusalkaz @ Livejournal) allowed me to upload her DVD rips of the opening and ending 1. Therefore, we have two versions now: with credits and creditless.
d) Speaking of LJ, you'll remember I used to put the links of the 100x100 icons I make, right? Okay, not anymore. I found a nifty PHP script to sort them, so now I'll upload icons directly to the K.net server. So now we have an icon gallery, sorted by characters. It's better than opening gazillion links to get something you didn't care about.

As always, I ask you not to hammer or direct-link my server.

[Updates, news] Small one

Mmmm, yup. After all this time, failing all over, I guess I should stop with the fansub news. I'm way, way behind. And all the links for subtitles are, after all, at Animesuki.com. There's a link below me with it.

So, summer! Hopefully, if RP/fanfiction/icons/family don't distract me, and CLAMP don't kill my brains with the Tsubasa events, I'll definitely have the site pretty and with tons of info and media. There's so much pending to do~

Today, I uploaded a new gallery, for B&W splash covers. I have them all up from volume 1 to 8, in a nice quality. Second, several people reminded me the canonness of March 3rd being Doumeki's birthday, so it was added to his profile (man, I have to rewrite those profiles...) Third, someone asked me about it on ye olde guestbook, and here it is: the full version of Reason in mp3. Available in the songs section, of course. No lyrics yet, though, because I still haven't seen a romanization. And fourth, the TV section is semi up-to-date now, with all the known episodes listed (the staff wasn't updated, though.)

ETA: I forgot the news part! Newtype Japan had a special booklet about CLAMP this month. Between the goodies, there was a cracktacular CLAMP in Wonderland short comic, featuring XXXHOLiC, Tsubasa and Kobato. You can find the comic scanned and good to go at Gakuen-Tokkei from Livejournal.

[Updates, news] Multimedia to leech

Pffft. I know. I was supposed to blog the news and releases in a regular basis. Then Easter Break arrived with a heck of a backache. Then... I sort of forgot. Gah. I suck.

Anyway! So far the fansubs releases have been the following:
- Mishicorp have become the "speed sub", having released the 4 episodes so far.
- Kyuuketsuki try also to be fast. Also did all 4 episodes.
- Shinsen-Subs are the slowest, but I feel the translations are better (or at least less awkward.) Only 3 episodes, though.

In the raw aspect, X-raws are the fastest. L33t-raws have jumped in the bandwagon, but they are offering the 16:9 version (which is bigger than the average raw/sub, and I'll be using that for screencaps.)

With that, I've covered them all.

And now the site updates! You're going to love this. The mp3s of 19 Sai (full version, yes) and a Sanagi remix have been uploaded in the songs section, and the lyrics can be found at the OSTs section (which has been updated as well.)

The big one. I uploaded the opening (19 sai) and the ending (Reason) video sequences with no subtitles in .avi format! Sadly, the opening is HUGE (27MB!), but I had no idea how to shrink it. The ending is about 7MB. Oh, and they were ripped from the 16:9 raw, so it's HQ and big.

Please, DON'T hammer my server, or I'll have to take the videos down. Thank you, and enjoy ^^

Ah, and I almost forgot, but the TV series section now is up to date and listing the episodes.

[News] Episode 01: Hitsuzen (raw)

Finally, the raw (no subtitles) for the first anime episode was released. You can download the torrent at X-Raws.

Also, if you don't want to save it, I was told you can watch it online in here.

Besides, there's a version of the opening animation at YouTube. here.

The anime was faithful to the manga... for ten minutes or so. They added an extra scene and changed Mokona's backstory and personality, dammit.

Oh, and for the ones with slow connection, I made a summary of sorts (warning: I can's speak Japanese) on my journal. It's a bit long, and somehow cynical and subjective.

[Updates] It's been a year

On April 1st, 2005, a tiny website called Yuuko's Shop changed its name and URL, and this place opened. Today it's this domain's anniversary! Yay!

To celebrate, I bring you +1800 screencaps from the movie. They're in a separate page from the normal gallery, so don't look for them over there, but here. You can either browse an online gallery or download them all in zip files.

[Updates] Sanagi and creatures

The lyrics for Sanagi are already up. The link to them is in the music section.

Oh, and I also opened the Creatures page, as you can see in the menu. The profiles are not done -for a change *snorts*-, but there's the list of some of the most prominent non-human characters (after Mokona, of course) of the XXXHOLiC cast. Yes, the cute girls are there, too, just in case you asked.

Did I mention there are pretty pictures per each? ^_^ Visual list! Yay!
